As Business Development Director, Laura has played a key role in furthering Professional Contractor Mortgages expansion and growth.

Steve Clements
Senior Mortgage Consultant
Steve is a knowledgeable and experienced consultant who has been working with Contractors for their mortgage needs for over 17 years. He was involved in modelling the Lenders criteria for contractors and has a thorough and extensive knowledge of what is achievable. Steve prides himself in his client service and empathy with contractors.
Qualifications:
Financial Planning Certificates 1,2 and 3 & CeMAP
Experience:
Steve is one of the UK’s longest standing contractor specific mortgage consultants. He has a breadth of understanding of all mortgage needs regardless of income methodology and employment status.

William Coe
Senior Mortgage Consultant
Will is responsible for overseeing clients’ mortgage applications from pre-offer through to completion. Will ensures the process runs as smoothly as possible by continuously updating lenders and clients with relevant information, as well as ensuring the legal work is on track with solicitors.

CeMAP 1,2,3 & BA(hons)
Experience:
Before joining professional contractor mortgages, Will worked as a mortgage broker for Countrywide Property Services working closely with estate agents and solicitors in helping clients secure mortgage funding for their chosen purchases. Prior to this Will has a history of working in public services.

Mark McBurney
Senior Mortgage Consultant
Mark guides clients through the process of securing a mortgage based upon contract rate. Whether it is a purchase, or a remortgage; and whether a residential property or a Buy to Let property, Mark can help with it all. Having been a mortgage advisor in the Contractor space for nearly a decade, he is well versed in the different options on the table for you, and handles the entire process from initial enquiry right through to post-completion.

Experience:
Financial Services is in the blood, with Mark’s father being a career-long Financial Adviser, so it was no surprise when Mark became a mortgage consultant 15 years ago in an Estate Agency environment. He began working exclusively with Contractors 8 years ago, and during that time, Mark has diversified into specialist lending options as well as protection provisions, making him a good all-round broker, and the man to go to for your mortgage needs.

Simon James
Senior Protection Consultant
Simon’s role is to ensure when our client’s our taking on mortgage debt, that it is protected. He will discuss with you, your own personal situation and provide you with bespoke protection recommendations. This is an important stage mortgage planning, that many mortgage brokerages will not spend the time or effort discussing with their clients. At Professional Contractor Mortgages we take protecting your debt, family, and ability to earn an income seriously, and Simon will be on hand to arrange solutions for you.

Experience:
Simon has been working in Financial Services for 19 years and been qualified as a mortgage and protection broker for 15 years. Simon has spent many years working exclusively with contractors, advising and arranging protection plans to be able to protect their income’s, mortgages, and family from the unforeseen emergencies that many will face in life.

Olivia Harland
Senior Mortgage Consultant
Olivia has been working in the mortgage market for the past 12 years and exclusively in the contractor market for 9 of those. Olivia is an expert in all things contracting and can assist with purchase, remortgage, further advances and product transfers.

Experience:
Olivia’s financial services career began in a large estate agency that gave her a thorough understanding of the whole house buying process from making initial offers right through to completion and picking up the keys.
Olivia decided to join the team at PCM after becoming frustrated in her previous role. Olivia is client focused and feels the processes in place at PCM allow her to deliver the very best service to her clients.

Matthew Long
Senior Mortgage Consultant
Matthew brings over 12 years mortgage experience with 9 of those spent exclusively in the contract market. Matthew understands all things contractor and understand how these working practices with be assessed by mortgage lenders.

Experience:
Matthew started his financial services career working directly with a building society. Having completed his qualifications he decided he wanted to provide advice and joined a large national broker where he stayed for 9 years.
Matthew decided to join the team as he felt the client centric ethos of PCM aligned with how feels business should be conducted.

Ellie Slater
Senior Mortgage and Protection Case Manager
Ellie is a knowledgeable and experienced case manager who has been working within mortgage & protection for the last 6 years. She has a thorough and extensive knowledge of the mortgage lender, insurers and processes and always strives to give our clients exceptional client service.

Lewis Channer
Senior Mortgage and Protection Case Manager/ Trainee Mortgage Consultant
Currently studying for his Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practise (CeMAP) Lewis, although fresh within the financial services industry, is keen to make an impact within the industry. His focus is on absorbing as much information as possible, ensuring smooth operations of administration functions and the submission of mortgage applications, whilst ensuring the delivery of an excellent level of client service.
Experience:
Prior to joining Professional Contractor Mortgages, Lewis’ experience stems predominately from a bespoke sales background, with 6 years encompassing a variety of roles including Specialist Category Sales, General Sales, and Area Territory Sales Representative. His previous responsibilities including developing product ranges, overseeing market trends, and delivering the highest standard of client service, ensuring that he was the first point of contact and always giving clients the confidence and the ability to rely on him for all their needs.

Jamie Watts
Social Media Marketing Assistant
Having always had a keen interest in social media, Jamie wanted to explore the world of digital marketing. His keen eye for detail and willingness to learn allows him to manage PCM’s social media content and strategy across multiple platforms.

Jamie joins PCM straight out of his A Levels. Having considered university Jamie decided he wanted continue learning on the job and see’s PCM as a great team to work with.

Jenny Gordon
Business Development Manager
Jenny prides herself on building strong business relationships. She likes to work cohesively with our introducer partners and ensure a seamless service for our clients. Jenny has spent 20 years in the Financial Services industry in various roles including Sales Management, Business development and recruitment.

Experience:
Jenny spent 3 years working in the contractor mortgage market as an Associate Director and managed a highly successful team in providing exceptional service and supporting contractors with their mortgage needs. She was also a key player in the rapid growth of the 3rd largest specialist mortgage broker by building and delivering a recruitment strategy that matched the challenging pace of expansion.
